Putting On God's Armor
Be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw
your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might
provides].
-Ephesians 6:10
Do you know what happens when you spend time with God? You begin to act like David when he faced the giant Goliath. You begin to take a stand and demand of the enemy, "Who do you think you are to defy the army of the living God?"
(See 1 Samuel 17:26). As soldiers of the cross, you and I are not supposed to be afraid of our enemy, the devil.
When a spirit of fear comes along, rather than shaking like a leaf, we are to be as bold as a lion. The devil comes against those who ae doing damage to his kingdom, those who are doing something for God. How do we withstand the devil? By putting on the full armor of God, taking up the shield of faith, by which we can quench all his fiery darts, and by wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (See Ephesians 6:13-17). But all of that armor and all of those weapons come from spending time in fellowship with the Lord. Ephesians 6:10 actually begins this discourse on the armor of God, saying, "Be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]." Then verse 11 goes on to say, "Put on God's whole armor." Only after being strengthened in fellowship can we properly wear the armor.

"Help, Lord !"
God wants us to depend entirely on Him. He wants us to lean on, trust in and rely on Him. Actually, that is part of the definition of faith. We are partners with God, and that means we both have responsibility. But we must lean on Him in order to do the things that are our part. God called me into the ministry and He anointed (enabled) and gifted me to do what I need to do, but I still have to trust Him and remember how much I need Him at all times.
Sometimes we may think that we don't need God's help with things we have done over and over again successfully. Why would we need help with something we already know we can do? It is dangerous to become self-reliant. The book of Proverbs speaks frequently of the self-confident fool. People who think they are self-sufficient and can take care of themselves are being foolish- and eventually that will be proven to everyone including themselves.
An independent attitude is part of the baby stage of Christianity. A mature Christian knows that he can do nothing of any real value apart from Jesus. Of couse, we can do things, but that doesn't mean they will be done right or that we will enjoy them or that they will produce any real lasting fruit.
When the Lord says we can do nothing apart from Him, He means things will not work properly in our lives unless we invite Him into everything. His presence can eliminate much of the struggle we experience in life. It makes impossible things possible, hard things easy and frustrating things peaceful. Do not ever be afraid to say, "Help, Lord, I can't do this without You."

Enjoying God's Love
The Bible says many times that God loves us. But how many of God's children still lack revelation concerning God's love? The truth is , very few of God's people really know how much He loves them. If they did, they would act differently.
Many years ago, I began studying how people can learn to receive God's love, and I realized that I was in desperate need of it myself. The Lord led me in my study to 1 John 4:16 and emphasized the importance of being conscious of His love. This means God's love should be something we are actively aware of. But how does one find this awareness?
I studied this subject for a long time, and I became conscious of God's love for me through thinking about His love and by confessing it aloud. I learned sciptures about the love of God, and I meditated on them and confessed them out of my mouth. I did this over and over for months, and all the time the revelation of His unconditional love for me was becoming more and more of a reality to me.
Now, His love is so real to me that even in hard times, I am comforted by the "conscious knowing" that He loves me and that I no longer have to live in fear. This can happen to you, too.
I encourage you to know and believe His love for you. Meditate on and speak about God's love that He expresses to you in His love letters-the Sciptures. Why not start with 1 John 4:16!

Chose Life
Thousands of thoughts are presented to our minds every day, and we must allow our minds to be renewed after the Spirit and not after the flesh. Our carnal (worldly, fleshly) minds have had so much practice operating freely that we can think wrong thoughts without much effort at all. On the other hand, we have to purposely choose to think right thoughts. After we have finally decided to be like-minded with God, then we will need to choose and continue to choose right thoughts.
When we begin to feel that the battle of the mind is just too difficult and that we are not going to make it, we must cast down that negative kind of thinking. We must choose to think that we are going to make it and decide not to quit. When bombarded with doubts and fears, we need to take a stand and say: "I will never give up! God is on my side. He loves me, and He is helping me!"
You and I will have many choices to make throughout our lives. In Deuteronomy 30:19, the Lord told His people that He had set before them life and death and urged them to choose life. Proverbs 18:21 also tells us we can choose life or death. It says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life]."
Our thoughts become our words. Therefore, it is vitally important that we choose life-giving thoughts.

My Prayer For 2009 (Pray with me).
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me and choosing me before You created the foundations of the world. Thank You for demonstrating Your love for me by sending Your only Son, Jesus, as a sacrifice for my sins. Because of Christ, I know You have good plans for me, and You prepare me to walk in them.
Today, by faith, I receive Your supernatural love and the power of the Holy Spirit, freely given to me to help me overcome every obstacle and opposition of the enemy as well as my own selfish thoughts and attitudes. I thank You for Your grace and faithful promises to help me live an overcoming and victorious life, one that honors Your name and gives You all the glory.
In 2009 through the power of Your Spirit, I will take my love walk to a whole new level. I want to love You by loving others in practical ways. Open my eyes to the opportunities all around me to love people so they will know and experience the love of God. Today I commit to make this the greatest priority of my life in the coming year.
I choose to obey Your Word by living generously-demonstrating my love for You by loving others with my time, finances, words, actions and resources. Father, I thank You because I believe You are going to make 2009 the greatest year of my life! In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Preyer Opens The Door For God To Work In You Life. A Prayer Of Blessing For Every Believer
Pray with me:
Father, I ask for you goodness to be manifested in my life, in my family and in my city. Whatever is wrong, make it right. Create new sources of growth and prosperity here and give me revelation, knowledge, and insight to act on them. Lord, I praise You now even before I see any evidence.
Bless the place where I live, God. Expand my territory and give favor to business owners, government officials and those in authority. Bring commerce to my city so that good things will be produced and jobs will be created.
Lord, remove burdens and destroy yokes by the power of Your anointing. Establish me and help me to multiply. Let Your church arise and shine so that justice, peace, and freedom overtakes our land. Let the truth be spoken for your namesake and empower us to take the Gospel to every nation.
You're causing me to live in my dreams, and I thank You. It's because of You that I have anything. And if something is lost, It's only because of You that I haven't lost everything. So restore today what has been lost. I repent of small thinking, and I open my eyes to the resources, ideas, and opportunities that give birth to great wealth.
Help me to be the pipeline of Your goodness. I want to bless the world and leave a legacy for future generations. You supply seed to the sower and bread for food, so help me walk in discipline so that the harvest of Your righteousness will be increased in me.

Grandmothers with Fashion
Hello to all the Fashionable Grandmother out there.
I am a grandmother and I still like to be in Fashion. I fill that just because you become a Grandmother, it does not mean you have to dress like one. Putting on those Grandmother House Dress, with the Flowers all over them. Putting on those Old look Grandmother Shoes. Just Dressing Old Period just make me say NO, NO, NO,! I am not doing it, I just can't do it, I just can't bring myself to do it, I will not do it, I WILL NOT DRESS LIKE A Grandmother.
Does any other, Grandmothers Out there fill ME! Or Do You like Dressing OLD!
